Mister Sinister
Born Nathaniel Essex in Victorian London, Sinister became a biologist in 1859. Essex believed that humanity was undergoing increasing mutation. He dreamed of bringing the perfection of the evolution of the human race to the masses. Later Apocalypse painfully transformed Essex into an ageless being, asking him to shed his past name and choose another. With his new abilities and dispassionate outlook, Essex took the new name, “Sinister”.
